Hi, am new to these posts, tho not new to bodybuilding. After 25 years of not competing , jumped into the master's over 60 and was able to win it.
Needless to say am now motivated to continue with a goal of winning a national title.
I did alot of competing in the 70s and 80s..Won many titles in those days. but due to family matters discontinued competing. Now with Master's am ready to hit the stage again.
I think back to my training days as a training partner to Boyer Coe and Casey viator..were some of the greatest days of my life.
I thank God for the gifts he has given me that enable me to compete at an age where most men are drying up. I hope in these posts Iam able to pass on some helpful advise to men looking to improve past 40, 50 or 60..and hope to learn from others, because you never know it all.

Great to see you again Shelton! Last time I saw you competing was back in the 1980s and you were in a couples competition with a young lady from Rayne Louisiana. I have a tape with that show some where recorded from ESPN. |

thank for writing ..is there annyway I can get a copy of that video, lost mine over the years and would love to have one .
Tommie Moreau was the girl and she went on to win many titles on her own the couples was a show used to get her feet wet and she really did well after that. I just spoke to her this past week , she is in california has a couple of kids and staying in shape.
Let me know about getting a copy , will gladly pay the costs ..

Congrats on your win and return to the stage. You have alot of muscle for your age. What is your next show? |

thanks, i was really in bad shape for this show . alot happened the week of the show aggravated an inguinal hernia,,and came in with too much water..The water issue i figured out ..Wanted this show to be a measuring stick for me,,next show will be Gulf states and hope to compete in nationals all next year.. But thank u for the kind remarks..
